Interesting Slant on Credit Agencies

Amendment Nine contributor Mitya K has an interesting slant on the possibility of Dems taking advantage over IRS privatization as well as credit agency abuse.  My question is, how do we Dems feel about this?  Do we agree that Credit Agencies are to "Crony Capitalists" what the IRS is to "Big Guvmint Libruls"?  Can we make that analogy sing?  Or is still too remote for most Americans.  Right now, I think its a pretty good case.  Given the right salesmanship, it could really become a good wedge issue for us.  What do you think?

No way... Democrats want the IRS to stop hassling (none / 0)

No way... Democrats want the IRS to stop hassling the poor and letting the rich get away with massive tax fraud. And they see the credit agencies as what they are, examples of 'privatized' entities that are completely out of control. The laws that 'regulate' credit agencies have all, in a sense, been worse than the (already bad) situations they entered into, because they served to quantify how we have lost our rights as time goes on.

So, i reject your argument completely. Its the Repugs that are in bed with the worst 'privatizers' and its the purpose of these agencies to separate poor people from their money...

i don't think you're understanding me.  what i'm saying is, can democrats take advantage of republican support for private credit agencies the same way republicans take advantage of democratic support for big government spending?
